Villa Rouge

The villa develops a total area of about 310 m², spread over several levels and extended by a landscaped garden of nearly 1,821 m².

The main entrance of the house opens onto a large reception area on the ground floor, enjoying a triple exposure. Bathed in natural light thanks to a skylight, it brings together the living room and dining room in double height and is decorated with a fireplace.
Recently renovated, the open kitchen is fully equipped. These living areas communicate with the terrace and the pool, extending the reception areas outside.

Spread over two levels, the sleeping area accommodates four bedrooms with shower room. On a middle floor and with independent access, the first two bedrooms communicate with the garden and with a terrace overlooking the pool.
On the top floor, the master suite has a dressing room and toilet and the second an office area. High point of the villa, a generous panoramic roof-terrace offers spectacular views on the hinterland of Vençois and the Baous chain.

Arranged as an independent studio, the pool house includes a sleeping area, an open and equipped kitchen, a shower and toilets.

Currently used as a playroom, the basement offers a multitude of possible uses such as home cinema, gym or library. The house also has two cellars, including a wine cellar, double garage and laundry room.

The whole is completed by a carport, a swimming pool, a landscaped garden in terraces as well as a petanque court.

Located in the quiet and sought after residential area of Vosgelade, on the slopes of Vence, the villa is only 8 minutes from downtown Vence, its amenities and shops. The village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence and the Maeght Foundation are 15 minutes away, and Nice Côte d’Azur airport is 30.

The region also benefits from a varied natural panorama between sea and mountains, offering many hiking trails, especially on the Baous chain, and a variety of water activities.

The architecture of the villa is distinguished by a refined and elegant geometric composition, based on cubic volumes. Its structure combines concrete, structural stone and facing stone.
Inside, the terracotta floor tiles echo the chromatic bias of the terracotta facade. The beams and raw concrete chimney give character to the interiors while the glass windows bring light and transparency, naturally opening spaces and allowing a lifestyle turned towards the landscape.

The location of the villa takes advantage of the natural slope of the site, magnified by the landscaping of the garden. Like landscaped sequences, these terraces allow a multiplicity of uses, swimming, contemplation or pétanque, in the heart of a garden planted with Mediterranean species.

Architect DPLG, Arnaud Moioli initially works on his own in the region of Cagnes-sur-Mer, carrying out new constructions as well as renovations and extensions for private individuals.

In 2003, he joined forces with the architect Jean-Baptiste Reynes to found ENODO, a company specializing in the production of 3D images of architecture and urban planning projects for consulting and communication purposes.
