By 19 September 2024No Comments

To celebrate the release of their new album ‘Pulsar’ on 7 June, the group l’Impératrice recorded a live set at the iconic Palais Bulle in Théoule-sur-Mer for the Arte Concert platform.

Dressed for the occasion in Pierre Cardin, the members of the group deliver a cosmic concert until nightfall through the organic spaces of the bubble house, its many terraces and gardens.

This live show is available until 19 December 2024 on Arte Concert.

Designed by the famous Hungarian habitologist Antti Lovag for Pierre Bernard in 1975 and built in 1984, the Palais Bulle is the architect’s third and best-known work.

This unique space features an accumulation of spherical cells, forming a labyrinth of bubbles integrated into the Estérel massif. Inside, you can wander through a troglodytic space with no corners, made up of curved walls, tunnels and cells with portholes.
Its furnishings, including fireplaces, shelves, sofas, beds and baths, are integrated into the masonry and designed entirely to measure.

After the death of its patron, the property was bought in 1991 by fashion designer Pierre Cardin, who made it his summer residence. He enlarged the building and turned it into the masterly reception venue we know today, with its 10 suites decorated by contemporary artists, its open-air amphitheatre, its many pools and its panoramic views over the Gulf of La Napoule.
