Description
A beautiful flat in an ideal location
The Eldorado Castellane building was built by Renaud Heim de Balzac in 1968 on the site of the former Eldorado cinema.
The flat has a surface area of 129 m² under the Carrez law and comprises a lounge, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a balcony and a 62 m² terrace. There is also a cellar and a parking space.
Located on a high floor in the Eldorado Castellane, it is right in the heart of Marseille. It is served by the metro and tramway (line 3), and is 5 minutes from the train station by public transport and 30 minutes by car from the airport.
Generous volumes and breathtaking views
The living spaces are generous and light-filled, thanks to the large picture windows that open onto the triple-exposed terrace. The terrace offers breathtaking views, including of the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Basilica.
L’Eldorado was part of the development of large urban complexes in the 1960s. Its elevation is punctuated by vertical lines and recesses, alternating concrete and metal-clad glass. The large glazed surfaces bear witness to Le Corbusier’s theoretical contribution. The 1960s marked the arrival of the middle classes in large urban estates, and heralded a new aspiration for a collective, modern lifestyle.
