Description
An eco-friendly flat on the outskirts of Paris!
This flat is part of a complex of three bio-sourced buildings completed by the tectōne agency in 2015 in Aubervilliers.
This 47.5 m² two-bedroom apartment has a 5 m² east-facing loggia. It is offered for sale with a parking space directly accessible by lift.
The flat comprises an entrance hall with storage space leading to a living room with lounge, dining area, open-plan kitchen and terrace on one side, and a bedroom and bathroom on the other. On the living room side, there is a sunny loggia where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine. The whole property has been carefully finished to a very high standard.
All the openings are full-height vertical bay windows with railings that let in light while giving an impression of openness and movement. The French windows are double-glazed, with sliding wooden shutters to complete the effect.
The residence is located on rue Auvry in Aubervillers, on the edge of Paris just behind the Porte de la Villette, a stone’s throw from the 19th arrondissement and 2 minutes from the Quatre Chemins metro station (line 7). It has an uninterrupted view over Parc Jean Ferrat.
An eco-conscious project in the heart of the city
The residence has been designed along the lines of urban villas and faubour-style cul-de-sacs. The three buildings form two internal streets, which are meeting places for residents.
For this project, tectone architectes used a mixed structure combining concrete and wood. The ground floor is a double wall of white concrete with integrated insulation, providing both a very neat exterior finish and effective insulation. The façades are made of untreated timber frames, which turn grey over time.
Each home has a double or triple aspect, and one or more outdoor extensions (balconies, loggias or private gardens). The kitchens, which open onto the living rooms, all have their own windows. The views to the outside have been chosen to avoid overlooking and ensure that everyone has a view of the south-facing square from the balconies.
tectōne architects and town planners
The tectōne agency has been involved in numerous housing projects for over 30 years, and for the last 10 years has been integrating a participatory approach into its design process.
tectōne pays close attention to the quality of its projects, and has drawn up an internal charter defining the objectives to be achieved to guarantee functional and spatial quality: natural light in all communal areas, double orientation from the 3-room flats upwards, no flats with a single orientation to the north, private outdoor extensions for all flats, first-daylight windows in the kitchens, natural lighting in the bathrooms, and a structure that allows the flats to be modular.
