Description
A contemporary building in V.E.F.A.
Nouvelle Vague is a contemporary residence designed by the prestigious Berlin architecture firm LIN. The architecture has a strong, innovative identity, with energy performance levels that exceed those of low-energy buildings. Freely inspired by the presence of the Seine, the building gently imposes its unique and original shape on the existing landscape.
Nouvelle Vague comprises 73 flats spread over 10 floors between the Bourbon and Navarre lobbies. Two 3-room flats are still available for sale.
This type of flat comprises a reception area with a living room of around 36 m² and a kitchen, and a night area with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. Two balconies on either side of the flat complete the layout. Garage optional.
Currently under construction, the flats are being sold off-plan, with reduced notary fees (1.8% to 3%).
Located in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, this residence boasts an exceptional location on the banks of the Seine. The ground-floor crèche, schools and lycées, numerous nearby transport links (metro, bus, RER, Lyon and Austerlitz stations), services and public facilities all add to the high level of living comfort offered by this development.
An innovative and generous production
The avant-garde architecture of the residence echoes the lines of the river, with curving volumes accentuated on the facade by the volutes of the terraces and balconies. This movement is even reflected in the treatment of the three gardens, whose delicate plant design was conceived by the Bassinet-Turquin Paysage agency.
Entrusted to the Malherbe Retail Design agency, the interior design is more minimalist, emphasising quality materials and a serene atmosphere. Once through the entrance gates, you pass through a monumental porch adorned with a majestic hanging lamp paying homage to King Henri IV, before reaching two spiral staircases, enclosed in shafts of light and designed as veritable interior sculptures to be admired every day.
Combined with a transparent façade that opens onto the Seine and the green spaces, the different buildings present a remarkable architecture pierced by a series of gaps. These gaps give access to the heart of the block, while allowing light to flood in and providing uninterrupted views of Paris, the Seine and the gardens. This ultra-contemporary architecture blends seamlessly into its surroundings, establishing itself as a new milestone in the architectural renewal of Paris.
Giulia Andi et Finn Geipel, Agence LIN Architectes Urbanistes
Founded in 2001 by Giulia Andi and Finn Geipel, LIN Architectes Urbanistes is based in Berlin and Paris. It develops architectural and urban planning projects characterised by a desire for balance between general lines and architectural details, interior and exterior treatments, private and public spaces.
His main projects include the Cité du design in Saint-Étienne (2009), the transformation of the submarine base in Saint-Nazaire (2007), the Théâtre de Cornouaille in Quimper and the exhibition space at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal in Paris (2003), the Halle E platform studio in Hamburg and the urban study for the Cœur d’Orly airport platform.
