AJAP 2020 : Discover the winners !

On 29 January, the French Ministry of Culture unveiled the 19 winners of the 2020 edition of the Albums of Young Architects and Landscape Architects.

This 2020 edition, disrupted by the health crisis, was jointly chaired by the Minister for Culture (represented by the Director of Architecture, Aurélie Cousi), landscape architect Jacqueline Osty and architect Pierre-Louis Faloci. Created in 1980, the Albums of Young Architects and Landscape Architects is a biennial competition designed to showcase young talent in contemporary architecture and landscape design. It is organised by the French Ministry of Culture with the support of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine.

The competition is open to all young architects and landscape architects under the age of 35, regardless of nationality, who have at least one competition-winning project or a project completed or in progress in France. The winners are selected by a jury of professionals from the field on the basis of the conceptual and innovative quality of their projects, the care taken in their execution and their commitment to social issues.The architects and landscape architects selected will benefit from a two-year promotional campaign (travelling exhibition in France and abroad, publications, website, meetings with the public and project owners, participation in trade fairs, etc.) designed to facilitate their integration into the profession.
