The Galerie d’architecture, located in the Marais district of Paris, is dedicated to exhibiting and promoting contemporary architecture. It had the opportunity to exhibit the winning projects of the Archinovo Prize at its first edition in 2011.
Inaugurated in 1999, the gallery exhibits projects by architects, landscape architects and designers of different generations, and is an essential link in the chain of distribution of contemporary creation between professionals, the public and institutions. It also creates strong links between different artistic worlds, from photography to architecture and drawing.
Among its collections, La Galerie d’architecture is exhibiting drawings by Alvaro Siza and Aldo Rossi, as well as by Frédéric Borel and João Santa-Rita. Models and silkscreen prints are also on display.
More than just a gallery, it includes a bookshop dedicated to 20th and 21st century architecture, art and design, as well as a display of recent international magazines.
