Description
A work of art to live in, designed by Hugo Toro
Conceived as a total work of art by architect and designer Hugo Toro, this 53 m² through-apartment, complete with a balcony and cellar, offers a true sensory experience. Bright and airy, it stands out for its bespoke design, noble materials, and timeless elegance.
Inspired by 1970s architecture, this through-apartment unfolds in a linear, streamlined layout where each space flows harmoniously.
From the entrance, you step into a 32.5 m² living area organized around a 5-meter-long built-in sofa, a custom lacquered dining table, and an open kitchen crafted from exotic varnished wood with a marble countertop. A 4 m² planted balcony extends this space naturally, inviting you to enjoy the outdoors.
Hidden behind a sliding brushed aluminum panel, a 16.5 m² suite reveals itself, featuring a bathtub, a dressing area, and a headboard designed by Toro. The apartment also includes a separate shower room with a toilet.
A 4 m² cellar is available in the building, and an optional parking space is on offer.
Located in the heart of the 19th arrondissement, this apartment enjoys a prime location near the Buttes-Chaumont park and close to the Canal Saint-Martin. The dynamic neighborhood offers a wide range of services (local markets, restaurants, shops) and leisure activities (green spaces, cultural venues, swimming pools).
The apartment is served by Metro lines 2 and 7bis.
Space as a story to experience
This apartment draws inspiration from the elegance of five-star suites, like those of the Orient Express, to reimagine the art of indoor living.
Designed as a sequenced, continuous layout, each threshold reveals a unique atmosphere. East-west dual exposure ensures abundant natural light that highlights the richness of the materials. Large windows offer unobstructed views of a garden and the rooftops of Butte Bergeyre, blending the landscape with the interior.
Materials were chosen for their nobility and expression. Exotic woods (smoked liquidambar, ziricote, walnut), crafted in marquetry, harmonize with beige travertine floors and walls finished with pigmented lime plaster in green. A deep yellow lacquered ceiling casts a golden glow, while brushed aluminum and marble add a contemporary touch.
The ambiance, both intimate and open, evokes a hotel suite: integrated furniture, textural contrasts, and chromatic harmony create a unique sensory experience, blending sophistication with Mediterranean softness. A place where every detail tells a story…
