Following the success of the first edition, the Regional Council of the Order of Architects of Île-de-France (CROAIF) will explore, in its second year, what constitutes value in architectural projects. Over two days, from Versailles to Paris, this discussion will address all aspects (social, economic, cultural, and environmental) with the aim of identifying collective courses of action and better recognizing, transmitting, and defending this value.

Roundtables, debates, lectures, and workshops will shape the program over these two days, led by architects, specialists, and educators. The first day, Wednesday, April 8, 2026, will take place at the École d’Architecture de Versailles (ENSA-V), where Professor Lorenzo Diez will give a lecture titled “Didactics of the Architectural Project: The Student at the Heart of the Ongoing Negotiation of Architectural Values”, followed by discussion sessions.
On Thursday, April 9, the event will continue at the Centre International d’Accueil et d’Échanges des Récollets, just steps from the Canal Saint-Martin. The day will begin with opening remarks from Laurence Bertaud, President of CROAIF, and Edward de Lumley, Regional Director of Cultural Affairs for Île-de-France, followed by a roundtable moderated by Jean-Pierre Lévêque, Vice-President of CROAIF, and Itamar Krauss, Ordinal Advisor, titled “Architecture Emerges from Value”. Reflection workshops will take place in the afternoon, and the seminar will conclude with a cocktail reception.
