The book 150 houses you need to visit before you die, a collaboration between journalist Thijs Demeulemeester and architectural historian Jacinthe Gigou, presents a selection of 150 iconic places of twentieth-century domestic architecture around the world, all of which can be visited.

These include the Villa Cavrois, Villa Müller, Casa Serralves and Taliesin. Some of these sites are key architectural landmarks and are easily accessible, while others are more confidential and can only be visited by appointment.

This book is a fantastic reference collection of 150 remarkable homes, but also a list in its own right of destinations to visit on your next trip… All these homes guarantee a unique visitor experience through their aesthetic and spatial qualities, their architectural vision or their interior design.

The ultimate bucket-list for your architectural trips!
