Marseille’s Cité Radieuse, an iconic landmark of modern architecture, hosted an extraordinary evening on Thursday, October 23, 2025. Organized by the Residents’ Association of Le Corbusier’s Unité d’Habitation, in partnership with MAMO (the art center dedicated to architecture and design) and Architecture de Collection.

The event brought together over 150 attendees, including residents, guests, and partners, to celebrate contemporary architecture.

Michel Triballeau, representing the residents’ association, opened the evening by acknowledging the commitment of all involved. He then introduced Rudy Ricciotti, winner of France’s Grand Prix National d’Architecture, who took the stage to reflect on his major projects—such as the Mucem, Rivesaltes Memorial, and Jean Cocteau Museum—and his vision of engaged architecture, as explored in his latest book, Insoumission (Albin Michel, 2025).

The lecture was followed by a book signing and a convivial exchange, offering a rare opportunity to engage with the architect in dialogue with this legendary site of modern history.
