Description

A project for a contemporary eco-friendly villa in Bordeaux

Designed by Atelier Julien Sécheresse and offered by developer Unik Archi, this VEFA contemporary villa project in Bordeaux’s Caudéran district blends elegantly into the urban fabric and features top-of-the-range amenities.

Set on a 203 m² plot, the house offers 145 m² of living space on several half-levels, served by a central staircase.

It offers a beautiful living space on 2 half-levels, hosting a pleasant living room on the street side and a dining room with open-plan kitchen below, opening onto the terrace and garden.

The night space comprises two bedrooms with storage space, sharing a bathroom, and a master suite on the top floor, with dressing room and private bathroom.

The first floor, on the street side, houses the entrance and benefits from two covered parking spaces and a bicycle room.

The project is scheduled for completion in 2025.

The property is located in the heart of Bordeaux’s residential Caudéran district, with its friendly, family atmosphere. Quiet and close to the city center, it benefits from numerous parks and squares such as the Parc Bordelais, as well as nearby shops and schools.

Urban architecture

Architect Julien Secheresse proposes a compromise between a loft-style open plan and a traditional partitioned space. He designed a fluid home, where all spaces are arranged around an ingenious vertical circulation system that serves all levels. This allows you to enjoy the advantages and comfort of a large living space, while maintaining a clear demarcation between different uses.

Consisting of cross-laminated timber panels and unfinished concrete, the chosen structure is quick and efficient to install. The project, ambitious in terms of constructive quality, provides excellent control of energy expenditure and comfort in summer and winter, in line with the agency’s environmental commitments.
